Who needs Level 2 Food Safety?
Do I need level 2 or 3 food hygiene?
As a general rule, food handlers should have training equivalent to level 2 in food safety and hygiene. Supervisors, managers and those who are responsible for implementing the food safety management system should have training to at least level 3 in supervising food safety and hygiene.

Assessment & Certification
The Level 2 Food Safety course is accredited by Highfield (HABC) and the exam can be taken online with Highfield Remote Invigilation or paper based in a classroom environment.

To pass you must achieve a total of at least 13 marks out of 20.

The duration of the examination is 45 minutes.
